• Meyers Leonard did some 3-on-3 drills with teammates as he continues his recovery from shoulder surgery.

Things couldn’t have gone worse for Leonard last year.  He and his agent pushed for too much money and went from the Blazers’ promotional spotlight to no extension, no love from the Blazers, no confidence and then an injury-plagued and terribly ineffective year.  This year, he has competition from as many as four equally talented big men and he needs to play minutes at center, not power forward, to make it work for owners.  He’s not worth drafting in most formats.

Fantasy News

  • Enes Kanter
    C, Boston Celtics

Enes Kanter (right hip contusion) will be held out of Tuesday's game.

Kanter has missed two consecutive games, and Tuesday will mark the third. The production of Jayson Tatum and Daniel Theis have not left him with a useful role in most fantasy leagues.

  • Jayson Tatum
    SF, Boston Celtics

Jayson Tatum (right groin strain) is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's game.

Tatum hasn't played since Wednesday. Daniel Theis has assumed his spot in the starting lineup, scoring a total of 31 points with 15 rebounds over those two games.

  • Russell Westbrook
    PG, Houston Rockets

Russell Westbrook will be held out of Monday's game for rest purposes.

Westbrook has been sitting out one half of back-to-backs, so this isn't surprising. Eric Gordon and Austin Rivers should get all the minutes they can handle against the Jazz.

  • Clint Capela
    C, Houston Rockets

Clint Capela (right heel contusion) is considered doubtful for Monday's game.

Capela experienced heel issues in December and they are flaring up again. Isaiah Hartenstein should see an expanded role until he returns.

  • Goran Dragic
    PG, Miami Heat

Goran Dragic (left calf bruise) is listed as questionable for Monday's game.

Dragic missed Friday's matchup with the Clippers. Tyler Herro played a whopping 40 minutes in that game and could be used a lot again depending on who is able to suit up against the Magic.

  • Jamal Murray
    PG, Denver Nuggets

Jamal Murray (left ankle sprain) will not play in Tuesday's game.

Michael Porter Jr. has seen his value increase thanks to injuries to Murray and Paul Millsap. This will be Murray's 6th straight missed game and the Nuggets are not sure when he'll be ready to return.

  • Paul Millsap
    PF, Denver Nuggets

Paul Millsap (left knee contusion) has been ruled out of Tuesday's game.

This has really become a chronic issue. Tuesday will be the 11th straight game that Millsap has missed. Jerami Grant has been filling in admirably for him.

  • James Harden
    PG, Houston Rockets

A Rockets source said that "it would be surprising" if James Harden played on Monday due to a bruised left thigh.

Harden was already listed as doubtful for the game against the Jazz. This is nothing too serious, but Austin Rivers got 34 minutes on Sunday and should be in line for a similar boost in court time.

  • Tony Snell
    SG, Detroit Pistons

Tony Snell (illness) is being listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Cavs.

Snell missed the last one and, to be brutally honest, we hope he misses this one too. His main function on the court is to steal minutes away from younger, already better players like Bruce Brown or Svi Myhailiuk. Ignore him. In perpetuity.

  • Derrick Rose
    PG, Detroit Pistons

Derrick Rose (right knee sprain) is probable to play in Monday's game against the Cavs.

Rose played in the last one, so this tag was expected. He's one of the more viable trade candidates in the league and is currently playing like a guy who wants to be in the playoffs. His value is at its peak right now and will surely drop if he's traded to a contender, so get whatever top-80 value you can get for him in a trade right now.
