Michael Carter-Williams (torn labrum, hip) will miss the remainder of the season.
Carter-Williams is set to have surgery and this puts Jerryd Bayless in a must-own position for the rest of the season. Bayless has been a late-round player over the course of the year when on the floor, averaging 28.3 minutes with 10.6 points, 2.0 threes, 2.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.9 steals and 42.2 percent field goal shooting and 80.6 percent foul shooting. He has played 31.2 mpg in the four games since returning from his own knee injury and while he’ll be an injury risk, this is an easy call to make sure he’s owned in all 12-team formats and most 10-teamers given the chance at some late mid-round upside. MCW is expected to need three months for recovery.
