JaMychal Green’s (ankle) MRI came back clean, he has no structural damage but will likely be out for several weeks.
Thats a huge blow for Green owners, as he was one of the more hyped sleepers coming into the draft this year. He didn’t even finish the first quarter of Wednesday night’s game before landing awkwardly and rolling his ankle. He finished with only two points, one rebound and one assist in just four minutes. With Green down, look for rookie Dillion Brooks to step up after a strong performance on Wednesday night. The injury should also open up minutes for Chandler Parsons and possibly even Jarell Martin and Brandan Wright.
Update: David Aldridge reported that Green will miss 3-4 weeks with an ankle sprain/bone bruise.
MRI on @Jmyke1 shows high ankle sprain/bone bruise, but no ligament damage. Out 3-4 weeks, per source. Not good, but at least he’ll be back.
