The Sixers listed Nerlens Noel (bone contusion), Jerami Grant (knee, quad) and Richaun Holmes (Achilles) as questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Hornets.
Noel has a bone contusion, which is more about dealing with pain than it is about healing. Jerami Grant was knocked out of Sunday’s game against the Warriors in the first three minutes with contusions to his right knee and quad. He has no timetable to return, but a questionable tag instead of being ruled out quickly is encouraging. Richaun Holmes is dealing with a strained right Achilles and there is talk of him being shut down. Holmes is not worth a stash.
Robert Covington started the second half for Jerami Grant and could be in line for a start on Tuesday. Covington should be owned in all leagues regardless of who is in or out of the lineup. Carl Landry is also worth a look if you are in need of short-term help of big man stats, but keep in mind that the Sixers only play three games this week.
