Nerlens Noel (knee) will miss Saturday’s game against the Blazers and Sunday’s game against the Warriors.
Noel’s injury could easily drag out for the rest of the year and we’ll let you know if we can get a beat on things one way or another. Dropping him could look silly if he’s playing next week, so evaluate the risk and reward of whatever move you may be considering. While Noel is out, Carl Landry is a near lock for something like 14 points and seven boards a night, and Richaun Holmes becomes an upside play for the versatile stats he brings. Robert Covington will get all he can eat and low-end producers Jerami Grant and Hollis Thompson don’t get a bump up in upside, but their floors get a lot nicer.
