Nicolas Batum was able to fully participate in practice and is a candidate to start for Wedneday's opener.
This throws a bit of cold water on the P.J. Washington hype train. The Hornets' rotation figures to be messy with so many young players vying for minutes on the wing. Nevertheless, if you must target Hornets, the safe play is to avoid veterans like Batum since they will be subject to periodic rest days and minutes restrictions. Both Miles Bridges and P.J. Washington figure to be prominent pieces in the rotation sooner rather than later given their age and positional versatility. Draft Bridges confidently in the middle rounds and target Washington toward the later rounds as an upside flier.
