MRIs taken on rookie big man Georgios Papagiannis’ left knee revealed no structural damage and he will be reevaluated on Sunday.
Big Continent is questionable for Sunday’s Summer League game and of course the stiffness he’s experiencing is going to cause eyebrows to raise because of his enormous size.
Deep Dynasty league owners should definitely be watching his progression as he could have some interesting versatility and in a year or two if all goes well he’ll be putting up solid stat lines as a backup, and if anything were to ever happen in a DeMarcus Cousins trade he’d obviously be the guy the Kings are pinning their hopes on to replace him. To be clear for all our Kings readers we have zero indication that Cousins is being traded anytime soon. You can now go back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Update: Papagiannis claims the knee isn’t a problem and that it was his hamstring that kept him out. We’re not sure if that’s good or bad but we think it’s probably good. Either way it doesn’t sound too serious.
Papagiannis said his knee is fine and that what kept him out last night was his hamstring. He hopes to play tomorrow
