The Spurs announced that Tony Parker will miss the rest of the playoffs with a ruptured left quadriceps tendon.
Earlier reports had Parker missing the rest of the postseason and this announcement confirms the worst. Parker went down immediately last night and it didn’t look good, as he had to be carried off the court by a pair of teammates. No word on whether this injury and the ensuing recovery will affect him for next season. Patty Mills is expected to handle the starting job going forward.
