The Pacers filled up the injury report in their game notes for Sunday, listing Thaddeus Young (sore right thigh), Darren Collison (sore left knee), Bojan Bogdanovic (sprained left ankle) and Lance Stephenson (sprained left ankle) as questionable.
There’s almost no chance that all four of these players sit out, but there’s going to be a new look rotation tomorrow. Collison has been running on empty for the last little while and has been ceding playing time to Cory Joseph, and perhaps the injury explains some of that. CoJo was in the closing group last night and would be a solid low-end guard if he assumed the starting role. For now, Collison is a hold. Young’s absence would open up minutes for Domantas Sabonis and T.J. Leaf at power forward, with Sabonis the preferred stream. If Bogdanovic and Lance sat out, the Pacers would have infrequently used Damien Wilkins and Alex Poythress as natural small forwards. There’s a lot of streaming options here but check back tomorrow, since at least some of these guys will probably play.
