• Patrick Patterson (strained left knee) left Thursday’s game against the Suns during the second quarter and did not return.

The Raptors are already having issues at power forward and Patterson entered tonight’s game with this injury.  Bebe has been a must-own player for weeks now even though the fantasy world at large has ignored that fact, but this would also only help his cause.  But let’s see where this injury heads in the first place.  Terrence Ross started the second half and he would make sense as somebody that could use a minute increase.   As a lower-profile late-round producer already he’s a must-own player in 12-team leagues and all 9-cat leagues.

Update: Patterson seems a bit worried about the injury and DeMarre Carroll (two points, four boards, one steal, 0-for-2 FGs) was on a 20-minute limit.  Clearly there are some minutes to be had if Patterson misses time and Terrence Ross logged 30 minutes in this one, finishing with seven points, one three, four rebounds, one assist, four steals and a block.  We’re calling Ross a must-own player in standard formats because he’s already producing enough to be called that, but if the quiet nights weren’t moving the needle the chance of big minutes on top of his current production should do the trick.
