Fantasy News

  • Jarrett Allen
    C, Brooklyn Nets

Jarrett Allen didn't take advantage of DeAndre Jordan's absence on Thursday, scoring seven points and grabbing eight boards as the Nets fell 128-113 to the Lakers.

Allen added just one blocked shot in his 30 minutes. He should still be a decent mid-round value going forward, even if DeAndre Jordan is around to gobble up rebounds.

  • Caris LeVert
    PG-SG, Brooklyn Nets

Caris LeVert had a nice outing on Thursday night in his 23 minutes, scoring 16 points to accompany four rebounds and a couple 3-pointers.

LeVert was decent but hasn't really been the exciting guy many people waited on hoping for a top-75 player. The issue is that the Nets have a number of wings playing similar minutes, like Wilson Chandler. Chandler played 22 minutes and scored 15 points with four triples.

  • Taurean Prince
    SF, Brooklyn Nets

Taurean Prince scored 18 points to go with three rebounds, four assists, three steals and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes on Thursday.

Prince contributed quite well across the board in this contest, which admittedly has not been the case that often for him. He's been tough to get excited about in shallower formats but there is still value in his shooting to keep him around in deeper formats.

  • Spencer Dinwiddie
    PG, Brooklyn Nets

Spencer Dinwiddie played 30 minutes on Thursday night, scoring seven points, grabbing seven boards and dishing out 13 assists.

Dinwiddie started next to Kyrie Irving in this contest. He had a good run holding down the fort when Irving was out, but Kyrie will eat into his value and usage, making Dinwiddie more of a late-round play for scoring and assists.

  • Kyrie Irving
    PG, Brooklyn Nets

Kyrie Irving (hamstring) led the Nets with 20 points on Thursday to go along with four assists and three triples.

It wasn't actually that impressive of an outing for Irving in 33 minutes. The Nets got caved in with Irving on the floor to the tune of a -26. Irving should put up more impressive lines going forward.

  • Dwight Howard
    C, Los Angeles Lakers

Dwight Howard picked up a double-double on Thursday with 14 points, 12 rebounds and three defensive counters in a win against the Nets.

Howard has been a very useful play for rebounds and blocked shots and is putting up perfectly realistic top-100 center stats. JaVale McGee's absence surely played into Howard's production.

  • Kyle Kuzma
    PF, Los Angeles Lakers

Kyle Kuzma played through a sore left ankle to put up 16 points and three triples on Thursday night.

Kuzma didn't get the start as Anthony Davis did get on the floor, but he did at least score a few points. However, his stat set is very limited to points, boards and triples, which just doesn't make him that enticing of a fantasy asset.

  • LeBron James
    SF, Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron James racked up a triple-double in Thursday's win over the Nets, finishing with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in 34 minutes.

James had a strong outing on a night that Anthony Davis was limited to carry the team to a victory. The efficiency was up there as well, with 11-of-19 shooting. He's a clear top-10 option in 9-category formats.

  • Anthony Davis
    PF-C, Los Angeles Lakers

Anthony Davis was limited to 27 minutes in Thursday's win over the Nets, scoring 16 points and adding 11 rebounds.

Davis managed to get on the court in this one and had a decent line in limited minutes. He's an elite asset no matter how we slice it.

  • Collin Sexton
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Collin Sexton scored 29 points on 10-of-15 shooting to go with four rebounds, four assists, two steals and two triples in Thursday's 112-124 loss to the Wizards.

Sexton has been on a roll lately and tonight marks his fourth consecutive game with at least one 3-pointer made. Over the last two weeks, he's averaging 22.8 points, 3.8 boards, 3.0 assists, 0.5 steals and 2.7 3s on .456 shooting. It's unlikely this sticks, but he's been hot from deep and is adding more to his fantasy game than points as of late.
