It will not be clear until game time whether or not Rajon Rondo is ready to play in the Bulls’ finale against the Nets on Wednesday, according to coach Fred Hoiberg.
Despite missing the last three games, Rondo has been a big reason why the Bulls have made a late resurgence and have a good chance to secure the number eight seed on Wednesday night. If he’s not able to go, expect Jerian Grant and Michael Carter-Williams to get a fair share of minutes at point guard, but this is ultimately Jimmy Butler’s team. The ball will be in his hands in the clutch situations.
