Pistons starting point guard Reggie Jackson suffered a grade three sprained ankle and he will be re-evaluated in 6-8 weeks.
Before you read anything else go grab Ish Smith! Jackson was producing top-150 value this year which was an improvement over his top-180 finish from last season, so this is a blow to his owners and the fourth seeded Pistons team. Smith will take the reigns and will contribute in points and assists with a steal per game. However, be prepared to stomach bad field goal and free throw shooting which is why he isn’t as highly ranked. Jackson has struggled with injuries his entire career and isn’t known to be a quick healer so Smith could be an asset for the entire length of the timetable and possibly longer.
