Reggie Jackson continues to progress in his rehab and could be able to return to practice before the Pistons’ west coast swing in two weeks.
Jackson has shot past his initial recovery timetable but any progress is good news at this point. He wasn’t cleared for running and cutting during the All-Star break as hoped but did hit that benchmark a few days ago, and his return to practice will make for another big step towards a return. The Pistons are all-in on a playoff push but have looked a little out of sorts since Jackson went down. He could be back in time for the fantasy playoffs though there will be some rust and an adjustment period since the Pistons have jettisoned two members of their starting five since R-Jax last suited up. Ish Smith and Jameer Nelson will man the helm for now, with Smith making for a solid late-round option.
