Reggie Jackson is working towards returning from left knee tendinitis that sidelined him for 30 games last season.
While the injury did limit Jackson’s season, his stats were still rather pedestrian when he was healthy. He averaged 14.5 points, 5.2 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 52 games and shot a poor 41.9 percent from the field. Recovering from the injury will be the first step to improving on a rather forgettable season last year. His role seems to be secure on the team, especially considering the report came from Pistons backup point guard, Ish Smith, who seems excited to have Jackson return. “He’s getting back to the Reggie Jackson everybody knows and loves.” He should be fully healthy for training camp next month.
