D’Angelo Russell will miss 1-2 weeks with a mild MCL sprain, a calf sprain and a bone bruise according to beat writer Bill Oram.
It’s not the worst news but it’s slowing his momentum and now he’ll probably be looking at after the All Star break to deliver anything really good for owners. It’s clearly a buy low scenario but with plenty of risk. Jordan Clarkson is a must-own player and Nick Young will also maintain late-round value during this span. It’s perfect timing for Lou Williams to blow up and for the Lakers to try and move him at the deadline.
D'Angelo Russell MRI confirmed mild MCL sprain, calf strain and bone bruise. Out 1-2 weeks. Not too bad for an 8 p.m. Saturday news dump.
