Candace Buckner of the Washington Post reported on Saturday that John Wall’s left knee surgery could have kept him out for several months had he done it during the season.
This knee kept him out for 2-3 months in 2012 so it’s not surprising that more details have leaked out and they indicate it wasn’t as clean-cut as players and teams tend to make these things sound. It’s time to consider the possibility that he could be questionable for the start of the season, but with plenty of time to go between now and then there’s no reason to adjust projections based on this report. If it keeps heading down this road, however, we’ll have to consider an update.
