According to Ian Begley of SNYtv, Mitchell Robinson is likely to play Thursday vs. the Mavs and will come off the bench if he does play.
Robinson has missed the last two contests as he is in the NBA's concussion protocol. He will gradually work his way back into the starting lineup. Robinson has disappointed fantasy owners so far this season, but there is still plenty of time for him to prove that he was worth a mid-round pick. He is by far the best young center that the Knicks have and it will be in their best interest to let him get experience this season as the Knicks will likely fall out of the playoff picture. If he does play, Taj Gibson is the most likely candidate to lose minutes as a result.
