Shams Charania is reporting that there is no return timetable set for Stephen Curry, though an MRI revealed no structural damage and ESPN followed up with news that Curry would be reevaluated in two weeks.
Curry is dealing with significant swelling and will not play tomorrow despite an optimistic doubtful tag. Shaun Livingston will start in his place, presumably, and is worth picking up in deeper leagues to see if he can make some noise. Patrick McCaw should see more minutes and maybe Nick Young gets more consistent work as well. Curry seemed in good spirits after the game but the Warriors will surely take their time in nursing him back to full health, especially considering his well-publicized history of ankle problems. There’s no incentive to rush him back for the championship-or-bust Dubs. Look for the rest of Golden State’s skill players to see a few more shots going forward.
