Richaun Holmes left Saturday’s game due to a right Achilles’ strain and will not return.
Holmes’ injury isn’t cooperating with owners hoping he can be the upside guy if Nerlens Noel (knee) shuts it down. If Holmes somehow can’t finish out the season himself, Carl Landry is going to be a solid guy to deploy on a night-to-night basis and Elton Brand might get dusted off. The Sixers would also probably try and sign somebody to a 10-day deal. Jerami Grant, Robert Covington and Hollis Thompson would all be locked into big minutes. The Sixers have a pair of three-game weeks to finish the year out, so don’t get too excited about Thompson but Grant should be worth owning in 12-team leagues.
