Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports that the Jazz don’t believe Ricky Rubio‘s hip injury is serious, but they haven’t given word one way or the other as to whether he’ll play tomorrow.
Rubio left after 21 minutes last night, and it’s a shame considering he was finally putting it all together. He had been dynamite over the last two weeks after some very dispiriting play for most of the season. Hopefully he’ll be back soon and pick up right where he left off. In the interim, look for Donovan Mitchell to see extended work at the point and Raul Neto to see some extra minutes as a more traditional point guard. There’s no real fantasy implications here, though Mitchell owners can look forward to some more assists while Rubio is out.
