Rodney Hood (calf) is reportedly day-to-day as an MRI confirmed a minor calf strain.
This is great news as him being carried off the court was a bit worrisome. He led Jazz in scoring last game in only 23 minutes of action and they are relying on him to fill a big scoring void left open by Gordon Hayward. The Jazz have a ton of depth so no one benefits too much from Hood missing any time. Donovan Mitchell is expected to replace Hood in the starting lineup against the Thunder on Saturday.
UPDATE: Rodney Hood has been ruled out of Saturday’s game against the Thunder.
Rodney Hood underwent MRI testing today at @UofUHealth Orthopaedic Center, which showed a mild left lower leg strain.
He is OUT tonight.
