Rodney Hood expects his sprained knee to take about a month to heal, per Jody Genessy of the Deseret News.
Hood sprained the knee in yesterday’s Game 4 loss to the Warriors but struggled with injuries over the course of the season, finishing with just 59 games played. Hood was a moderately popular play this season after turning in a strong sophomore campaign but was highly disappointing while finishing well off the standard league radar. He saw his points, assists, steals, threes, field goal percentage and free throw percentage all drop this season and should come pretty cheaply in drafts next year. If you’re a believer in a bounce back campaign he makes for a fine late-round flier in standard formats but don’t cling too tightly. At least this knee injury won’t eat into his offseason too much.
