Rondae Hollis-Jefferson was forced out of the Nets’ win in Phoenix with a right-hip contusion but neither he nor coach Kenny Atkinson would rule him out of Tuesday’s game at the Nuggets.
Hollis-Jefferson admitted he is a little sore and will wait to get evaluated on Tuesday morning. “You’ve just have to wake up and see how it feels, talk to people you need to talk to and go from there.” Trevor Booker missed his second consecutive game with a sore back and Jarrett Allen missed a third straight with a left-foot strain while Quincy Acy returned after missing the past three games with a left groin strain. Stay tuned for a report later today as it looks like Hollis-Jefferson is more questionable rather than probable for Tuesday. His owners should feel very happy as the young forward is having a career year while returning top-75 value so far.
