Kings forward Rudy Gay had successful surgery on his ruptured Achilles-tendon and expects to be ready for training camp at the beginning of next season.
Gay seems to be on the right track following surgery which is great to hear. “The surgery was successful, and there are no complications or unexpected findings,” Dr. Martin O’Malley, who performed the surgery, said in a statement. “He will be on crutches and in a boot for the next six weeks.” It’s anticipated that he will be able to participate in all of next season’s activities, but for which team remains to be seen.
