Presti went on to say that it’s “nothing serious,” and for now that seems to be the case. Neither Westbrook nor the team seem overly concerned at the moment but these things can change quickly. In the sake of fairness, Westbrook did tear the meniscus in his right knee back in 2013 but Presti says this latest treatment has nothing to do with old ailments. It shouldn’t hurt the reigning MVP too much in draft rooms but it’s going to be something to watch in preseason.
Update: It’s his left knee and that would confirm Presti’s statements.
Thunder informs me Sam Presti misspoke. Westbrook had PRP injection in his LEFT knee. Still worth monitoring, but not knee w/ 3 procedures. https://t.co/GPC4ox43ak
