Ryan Anderson will not play in Tuesday’s game due to his groin injury.
The Pelicans have nothing to play for and Anderson hasn’t looked right the last few times on the court, despite playing big minutes and producing well lately. He’ll be a long-term injury risk for anybody picking him up going forward, and the early money suggests that Sacramento is going to open up the piggy bank for him. Fantasy owners will want to hold on until news worsens and each of Toney Douglas, Norris Cole, Tim Frazier and Luke Babbitt range from must-own to could-be-owned in 12-team leagues. Cole is questionable for Tuesday’s game, as well.
Gentry said of Anderson’s groin injury, “There's some things that we're looking at there and we'll figure that one out too.”
