The Raptors have ruled out Serge Ibaka (rest) and DeMar DeRozan (illness) for Wednesday’s game against the Cavs.
No surprises here. The Raptors are hard-pressed to out-tank Cleveland in this one, and the two are looking locked onto a collision course in the second round. While that should be a fun matchup, fantasy players should turn to Norman Powell tonight. He may not start but represents Toronto’s best bench scoring option who is unlikely to have his minutes capped. Play him wherever you can. The power forward spot is a bit more interesting, as P.J. Tucker and Patrick Patterson could also benefit from limited minutes. Patterson should still be worth a look while there will be plenty of time for Jakob Poeltl and Lucas Nogueria tonight. Nogueira is a great desperation play, as the cash counter magnet figures to get back into the rotation for this one. He disappeared in the second half but could deliver somewhat of a throwback performance tonight.
