Rick Carlisle said on Sunday that Seth Curry (tibia) has begun “live activity” and will travel with the Mavs, though there is still no timetable for his return.
Curry has been sidelined since late September with a stress reaction in his tibia. The Mavs have kept him sidelined in order to prevent a more serious injury but it sounds like Curry is nearing a return. In his absence, Dallas has turned to Yogi Ferrell and J.J. Barea for production, turning both into deep league options. Curry was supposed to be the starting shooting guard this season, but he might not return to the role immediately. He should produce enough to be worth owning in standard leagues when healthy.
