• The Sixers will be missing four players tonight when they face the Grizzlies, as Joel Embiid, Dario Saric, Amir Johnson and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot are all out.

Saric is the least worrisome of these absences, as he missed shootaround today and won’t suit up for simple rest purposes after a busy summer of international ball. Luwawu-Cabarrot continues to battle right knee tendonitis but should be ready for the regular season, though he’s buried on the bench and is unlikely to have fantasy value in his limited role. Johnson has a sprained right ankle, and you can add a new item to his list of minor leg problems. Embiid is the big one, of course, and has already been ruled out for the next two contests as he continues to work his way back from knee surgery. He’s still an elite talent but presents a ton of risk in your fantasy draft’s early rounds.
