Keith Pompey of Philly.com is reporting that the Sixers aren’t concerned with Joel Embiid’s right hand, though they’ll monitor him leading up to Monday’s game against the Rockets.
Embiid had x-rays taken on his right hand after last night’s game but they came back negative. He should play tomorrow, though the potential certainly exists for the Sixers to keep him sidelined just to stay on the safe side. Embiid is always an elite option when he’s on the floor but Amir Johnson would be an intriguing fantasy alternative if he were called on to start. For what it’s worth, Embiid himself intends on playing.
