76ers coach Brett Brown said that he does not expect T.J. McConnell (left shoulder contusion) to play in Thursday’s game against the Celtics.
McConnell left the game in the third quarter and did not return. X-rays came back negative and it is likely only a bruise. Jerryd Bayless and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot figure to gain the most if McConnell misses any time.
Update: McConnell will not play. Jerryd Bayless scored 14 points with four assists on Wednesday and he’ll be worth a look for some low-end value, especially with Joel Embiid also out. Ben Simmons will have his work cut out for him keeping everything organized.
