The Suns have updated their injury report ahead of Saturday’s game, revealing that both T.J. Warren (back) and Josh Jackson (knee) will sit out.
Warren was doubtful coming into the day so that’s no surprise. He was a late scratch with back spasms in Phoenix’s previous game and since those have a propensity to linger he could miss some more time. Usually that makes Jackson a surefire play except he is dealing with an unspecified knee injury. The Suns don’t have much depth at the small forward spot so they’ll have to cobble things together on the fly today. Davon Reed started the second half after Jackson left the team’s last game, while Troy Daniels could slide down to the three in smaller lineups. Jared Dudley could rejoin the rotation and move up to small forward in a pinch. If the Suns want to go small, it could open up more time for Shaq Harrison and maybe even Tyler Ulis as well.
