The Wolves announced that Jimmy Butler suffered a meniscal injury in his right knee and that more information would be provided as it becomes available.
This is probably as good as it gets for fantasy owners and Wolves fans. Depending on the severity, he might opt against surgery and head into a week-to-week status. The Wolves’ schedule is pretty light in the near-term here, so the team may view that time off as a no-brainer to get him back up to speed. There are no great beneficiaries anyway, but if you’re weighing increased usage for his teammates you’re probably looking in the 3-4 week range if we have to make an absolute guess.
