Fantasy owners will have to wait a bit longer for the return of Dion Waiters even though an MRI did not reveal any damage to his ankle.
Waiters has already missed the last four games and looks like he will miss another two even though there is nothing structurally wrong with his ankle. The Heat remain in the thick of a playoff race for the number eight seed. Goran Dragic and Tyler Johnson have been carrying the backcourt as of late, but Josh Richardson might be showing signs of life. Richardson is averaging 9.7 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists over his last six games, and is averaging more than 30 minutes during that span.
Spoelstra confirms an MRI on Waiters, which came back negative. He will miss these next two games.
