• In an interview with Al Iannazzone of Newsday, Tim Hardaway Jr. admits he’s playing through “intense soreness” in his foot but refuted claims that he could be dealing with plantar fasciitis.

Coach Jeff Hornacek acknowledged the possibility that Hardaway could be dealing with a case of plantar fasciitis given the symptoms but the guard responded with “I don’t know what Coach was talking about it, but it’s not that.” He instead referred to it as “just intense soreness with ligaments and stuff.” While some rest would probably do him some good either way, THJ is coming off another strong performance and is playing to middle-round value this season. Keep him in your lineups as long as he’s active.
