Spurs guard Tony Parker could miss at least eight months after undergoing successful surgery on his left quadriceps tendon on Friday.
The good news is that the surgery was successful and Parker is on the road to recovery. Dr. Josh Bell, an orthopedist, says, “In four to six months, you can usually return to some activity. But that’s not basketball.” It sounds as though the 34-year old has a long road ahead of him and therefore should be someone to avoid in fantasy drafts next season.
