Tony Parker underwent successful surgery on Friday to repair a ruptured left quadriceps tendon.
A timetable has not been set but according to sportsmd.com, this type of surgery “typically” takes about 6-to-8 months to fully recover, with light running usually beginning after four months. Patty Mills will start for the remainder of the playoffs but the offense will continue to run through Kawhi Leonard first and foremost. Tony Parker’s NBA record 221 consecutive playoff game streak will come to an end on Friday.
