Tyson Chandler is getting an MRI on his neck that has caused him to miss three of the last four games while Tyler Ulis was unable to practice with a back injury.
Both Chandler and Ulis were not producing value worthy of owning so it is more noteworthy to see where their minutes end up. Dragan Bender and Elfrid Payton will look to get the biggest increase in value as Bender saw the largest increase in minutes among big men when Chandler missed recent games and newly acquired Payton has gotten off to a very hot start with his new team. We will have to wait and see what Chandler’s MRI results are but if he is expected to miss any significant amount of time then Bender, Alex Len, and Marquese Chriss will all get bumps. In Payton’s small sample size with the suns he has already been averaging a career high 35 minutes per game so it would be tough to see him go up from there, but his role is secure with Ulis dealing with a back injury.
Update: Tyler Ulis is questionable and Tyson Chandler is doubtful for Friday’s game.
