Updating an earlier report from Altitude TV, Danilo Gallinari has two torn ligaments and not tendons as was previously reported, and the Vertical reports that he will miss a month.
There are going to be big medical differences between the two for sure, but from a timeline perspective we just don’t see why the Nuggets would race to bring him back this season. The report about Gallo missing a month is good news but we’re still not buying it, nor are we going to summarily rule it out, especially since it matches the tone of an earlier report. JaKarr Sampson (seven points, two boards, one assist, one three) got 30 minutes of action in Gallinari’s place tonight, and Darrell Arthur played 27 minutes with nine points, four boards, three assists and one steal. Arthur is worth a look in 12-team leagues and the jury is still out on Sampson.
