Dwyane Wade (right elbow sprain) is questionable and Rajon Rondo (right wrist sprain) is doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Nets.
Rondo himself said he was “unsure” if he will play and coach Fred Hoiberg said he “most likely” will not. He is listed as out on the game notes already. We believe it is safe to assume he will not play tomorrow. Jerian Grant got the start for Thursday’s game and produced 15 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and one triple in 30 minutes. Michael-Carter Williams played only ten minutes, while Isaiah Canaan and Cameron Payne only played one.
Wade, whose missed the previous 11 games seems like he is fully healed and even participated fully in practice on Friday. Hoiberg said that the trainers will make the final call. If he sits out, expect Zipser to continue starting but he has not done enough to warrant fantasy consideration.
Wade said "between 15 and 20" minutes would be ideal for his 1st game back.
