• Wendell Carter Jr.
    PF, Chicago Bulls

Wendell Carter Jr. (core muscle injury) had successful surgery on Tuesday and his rehab will take 6-to-8 weeks, putting him in line to be ready for training camp.

Carter only played in 44 games during his rookie season due to injuries. He should be fine to start next season, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him easily surpass the 25.2 minutes per game he averaged as a rookie. The starting center could be a sneaky draft target if he lasts until the later rounds due to injury concerns.
