Wesley Matthews left the game after straining his right calf in the second quarter of the Mavs’ loss to the Raptors on Monday night.
Matthews did not return after scoring two points on five shots. He missed on all three of his attempts from beyond the arc, but he did have four assists, so his night was not a complete bust. It’s not clear if Matthews will start on Wednesday night for the Mavs, but if he does not play, look for Dorian Finney-Smith to get additional minutes in his absence.
Rick Carlisle says Wesley Matthews has a mild strain of his right calf, joining Nerlens Noel as day-to-day. #DALatTOR
