After a one game absence, Wesley Matthews (right calf strain) is expected to play on Friday against Philadelphia.
It is clear Matthews is not the same top-75 player he was last year when he averaged 2.9 triples per game. His averages this year barely put him in the top-150 and he is even worse over his last nine games with an atrocious 30.6 field goal percentage. His upside in threes and steals make him difficult to cut unless there is a must-add player on the wire. The Mavericks only play three games next week.
