Metta World Peace played 24 minutes in a start, finishing with 18 points, four boards, one assist, four steals and four triples in a 108-96 win over the Pelicans.
With D’Angelo Russell away from the team due to a death in the family, World Peace got the start. In what is likely to be Metta’s last game at the Staples Center, he dropped a season-high 18 points to close out his illustrious career as a Laker. While it bears no fantasy relevance, it was exciting to see the Laker crowd get involved in this one. Jordan Clarkson had a strong outing with 15 points, three boards, three assists, two steals and three triples in 25 minutes, while Brandon Ingram had 15 points, five boards, six assists, one steal and one monstrous jam over Cheick Diallo.
