Nuggets guard Will Barton (ankle) says he’s fine and will play against the Jazz on Wednesday.
Barton had to be carried of the floor during Monday’s practice with what was thought to be a serious ankle injury. However, both he and coach Mike Malone have confirmed he is fine and has been cleared to play on Wednesday. The backup guard has played great during the preseason and will have a sixth man, scoring role off the bench for the Nuggets this season. This is also a contract year for the 26-year-old so his motivation should be at an all-time high. Dynasty leaguers could target him as he could sign into an even bigger role next year on another team if he chooses not to resign with the Nuggets. Top-100 per game value is a possibility after finishing top-120 last season
