Zion Williamson has avoided a serious injury to his right knee but is expected to miss "a period of weeks" according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
This is a massive blow to basketball fans, as Zion has been the story around the league during preseason. While a full recovery is expected, this will likely scare some fantasy managers off the rookie's second-round draft price, and those of you who are betting on a speedy recovery may be able to snag Zion at a discount. He's looked unstoppable and wouldn't have a problem meeting that draft position, but he's carrying far more risk than he was 24 hours ago. As far as his replacements, this will open up more usage for everyone, and among the forward core we'll probably see more time for Brandon Ingram, Kenrich Williams and Nicolo Melli, with Ingram-at-PF minutes opening things up for the guards in smaller lineups.
