• Blazers rookie Zach Collins sat out Tuesday’s practice and has entered the NBA’s concussion protocol, per Joe Freeman of The Oregonian.

Collins sustained the injury during 3-on-3 play. Portland liked him enough to select him 10th overall but it’s been a summer of low expectations. The plan seems to be some quiet development for Collins, who is still only 19 years old. He’s not going to be a serious contributor right away, so single-season players don’t need to worry too much here.
