Zach LaVine and Kris Dunn have both been ruled out for Friday’s game against Milwaukee.
This is no surprise as LaVine is going to be re-evaluated next week and Dunn is taking things slowly with his toe injury. Cameron Payne will continue to start at point guard and he has not looked like his usual self as of late – he’s actually been decent. Putting up nine points, seven assists, three boards, a block and two treys over his last three starts, Payne should hold value as long as Dunn remains out; he’s been a top 100 player over the past two weeks. In LaVine’s case, there have been whispers of a possible shut down but the team will re-evaluate his status in a few days. LaVine hopes to get in a few more games before the season ends, but until there’s confirmation on his return, it is hard to hold onto him.
