Zach LaVine (left knee) has been cleared for “unpredictable movements,” but still isn’t participating in any contact drills.
LaVine’s reportedly ahead of schedule, but his timetable still has him returning sometime in between mid November and early December. That means he’ll miss the first two months of the season, and most likely be eased in to playing time. The Bulls are in rebuild mode and are in no rush to run their best player into the ground. LaVine should definitely be taken in the late middle rounds on draft day, but temper expectations and maybe let someone else deal with that headache.
